Lunch Program
Hello PVS families! We ask that you look at the menu with your students and pre-order the meals that you know your child will eat. This could be done through our online ordering form (with PayPal payment), delivering a copy of the menu with your student’s choices to the front office or emailing us directly. Paid lunch this year is $4.90 per meal.
To order online for May/June click hereEveryday we offer a regular Lunch option which includes meat on occasion and an Alt. Lunch option (V) - vegetarian, for the days when meat is served. If your student needs a (DF) - dairy-free, and/or (GF) - gluten-free lunch please let us know at [email protected] so we can provide you with the appropriate menu options.

LUNCH AT PORTLAND VILLAGE SCHOOL 2023-2024
Students have the option of bringing their own lunch from home or they can participate in our delicious school lunch program. PVS is responsible for identifying students who qualify for the Federal Nutrition Program (known as Free and Reduced lunch.)
We are excited to provide this identification in house, and ask that all families please apply - a link to the 2023-2024 form ishere! Please email the form back to us at [email protected] or deliver directly to the front office. Do not apply nor order lunch through the PPS website, we are not connected to the School Cafe system.
A greater percentage of qualification allows us to receive extra money - called equity allocations - from PPS, higher qualification also allows PVS to apply for certain grants and matching programs otherwise unavailable to our school. Please click here to look at the Oregon Expanded Income Guidelines, your children may qualify for no-cost meals if your household income falls at or below the limits on the chart.
Application benefits our school, even if families choose not to participate in the program!
The lunch program offers both hot lunches and cold lunches, delivered fresh daily. This school year we will continue to deliver individually packed lunches to your students each day. Every month we will include a copy of the menu and the ordering form on the weekly Digest and on our website. Please pay attention to the due date for ordering, at the beginning of school we have an extended due date but normally, orders are due a couple of weeks before the month starts to allow us time to order enough meals for everyone.
PVS’s School Lunch program partners with Fresh and Local, a locally owned and operated company which provides delicious, healthy lunch options with a focus on locally grown, organic, and Rbst free products.
