I grew up in New York and received my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Cornell University in the beautiful town of Ithaca, NY. I continued on to get a Master’s Degree at the University of Ann Arbor in Health Education. Always wanting to live on the West Coast, I made my way to Arcata, CA. While teaching at my first Charter School, I was introduced to Waldorf Education, and have been teaching at Waldorf inspired charter schools ever since. Before coming to Portland, I had the good fortune to be able to travel the world with my husband and then 7th grade son, “world-schooling.” Still new to Portland, I love discovering the beautiful natural places surrounding the city, as well as having an international airport close by.
