Bio

After graduating from WOU with a BS In Child Health in 2010, I bought a one way ticket to Europe to embark upon an adventure, and found myself in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. I began working at a preschool on the military base and was fortunate enough to be able to work with a wide range of students. As I travelled throughout Europe experiencing education in a variety of cultural settings, I encountered the Waldorf philosophy and instantly fell in love with the ideas and the imagery of the Waldorf classroom. After almost four years in Europe, it was time to return home where I enrolled in Concordia University’s Master’s in Teaching program. I was fortunate enough to be placed at PVS as a student teacher and I immediately fell in love with the school and all it had to offer! I knew that working at PVS would be an amazing experience and one that I would look forward to everyday! I am pretty good at eating burritos and ice cream and I am lover of house plants. In my free time I enjoy traveling, crafting, hiking, spending time in the great outdoors and loving on my two favorite nieces!
