Bio

I’m David Dugo, the PVS School Psychologist. I’ve been working at PVS since 2014 and landed here randomly as a PPS staff assigned to cover special education needs.  I have developed deep connections to my colleagues here and have come to know the Waldorf philosophy, partially by osmosis, and to some degree, through research on my own.  I grew up in California, and came to Oregon in 1993 after falling in love with Portland. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of California, Davis, and also a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from Lewis and Clark College.  My working role is to provide special needs consulting, assessment and counseling at the school.  My hobbies include music, reading, video games and cooking. I have two kids that attend Jefferson High School and I enjoy spending time with them.
