I was born and raised in Southern California and lived there until moving to Oregon over eight years ago. Mirroring many my own childhood experiences, of sports, music, art and friends, I have loved seeing my children thrive at PVS, allowed to come into themselves and bodies with the same slow and mindful tasks I remembered doing as a child. The Waldorf reverence for changing seasons, and low technology is a powerful way to authentically experience the world around us. After teaching adult yoga for 15 years, I have this amazing opportunity to teach yoga to children at PVS. I feel yoga is a perfect fit to the Waldorf philosophy, practicing movement and breath to gain knowledge and awareness of all that is in and around us. Outside of Waldorf, I love creating art, dancing, speaking Spanglish and baking treats for my family.
