I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado and received my Bachelor's Degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver in English and Elementary Education. I was introduced to Waldorf education through a friend, and immediately fell in love with the philosophy's artistic approach, holistic learning practices, and its developmentally appropriate focus. I am so happy to be a part of our Portland Village School community! When not in the classroom, you’ll find me gardening, hiking, collecting leaves, camping, eating delicious food, traveling to foreign countries, drinking strong espresso, reading good books, painting and crafting. My most memorable foreign experience thus far has been my trek on the El Camino de Santiago through Northern Spain.
