I love learning. Being a teacher has allowed me to be engaged in leaning in a variety of ways. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and after graduating from the University of Oregon I made the leap to the big city of Portland. After moving to Portland I worked for another charter school in the area. I loved my job and after seven years I felt that I had learned what they had to teach me. I knew I wanted to teach in a community that valued art and the holistic teaching of each child. I found my way home to the Portland Village School. I am absolutely delighted to be here. During my free time I am an artist, a costume designer, stilt walker and fire breather. I love camping, creating and spending time with my family. I also can gobble at wild turkeys and they will gobble back!
