I grew up in the Portland area where I graduated from PSU. I moved to Taipei, Taiwan where I taught English and played music for over ten years. I returned to Portland to obtain my Master's in Education at Concordia University. In my Master's program, I learned about the Waldorf school. I came to realize that I've been following the Waldorf philosophy for years. Tending to the mind, the body and spirit are central to a well balanced education! I am honored to be a first grade teachers at Portland Village School. In my free time I enjoy playing guitar, listening to good music and reading great books.
