Jessi Herbert

Jessi Herbert grew up in Olympia, Washington and received her B.A. from The Evergreen State College. She spent two years in Lesotho as a Peace Corps Volunteer, working at two rural primary schools. Upon her return she moved to New York City and received a Master's Degree in Art Education from The School of Visual Arts. She taught art and technical theater at a large arts focused high school in Brooklyn, NY for two years. Happily moving back to the west coast she taught at The International School before working at The Portland Village School.

David Edwards

David Edwards has enjoyed a lifetime of teaching and making music. He holds degrees in Theatre Arts from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Choral/Vocal Music Education from California State University, Long Beach. Performance highlights have included: soloist and vocal director for the Blue Pacific Swing Band, soloist and section leader with the Oakland Jazz Choir, and soloist and bass vocalist with local a cappella group, V-Chords.

Through the years he has taught at every level in a variety of settings, including the acclaimed early childhood music program Music Together -
