Ira Reiland is a first year board member and parent of a current 2nd grader at PVS. In his 16 years at Xerox, he has put his BS in Supply & Logistics Management to good use in functions such as Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning, Forecasting and Procurement. He has seen amazing things from his daughter as a result of her exposure to Waldorf Education and has grown
to love the community at PVS. As a Board member his goal is to make this education available to as many children as possible.
Jennifer Lalime (Parent)
Jennifer Lalime lives in NE Portland and has been a PVS parent since the school first opened in 2007. Her two children are currently, and happily, in the 2nd & 4th grades respectively. She is a northwest native, and a writer, who loves to camp locally and travel
globally. She is passionate about food, drink, story in all its forms, and, well, PVS. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington, a Masters in Education from PSU, and currently makes her living as a Business Consultant. She joined the PVS board in 2010.

Margie Tannenbaum (Grandparent)-Policy Committee Chair, Governance
MargieTannenbaum is a grandparent of a first grader. She has a doctorate in Education and taught for 35 years in public and private schools in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, from preschool (Head Start) through graduate school in the following subject areas: English, Reading & Spelling, History, Philosophy, Policy Studies, and Computer Science, and supervised student teachers in NJ public schools. She has researched and published numerous
educational articles, co-authored a higher education textbook, published many articles and a book and given many presentations on school choice. She also was a parent classroom volunteer for 12 years, helped start and was president of a PTA in the school system, served on a public school board for 9 years, and was president of a child development center board for 4 years. As a retired educator and ardent advocate of school choice, she is eager to become a part of the
Portland Village School community.
Ross Borden (Parent)-Governance Committee
Ross Borden is a parent in Shannon McClure's class at PVS. He is a metallurgist with Evraz Oregon Steel. Originally from Chicago, IL, Ross has lived in Portland since 1991. Graduated from Tulane University (BS - Biology) and Oregon Graduate Institute (MS - Materials). He has served on the Board of Rivergate Federal Credit Union and the PSU Mechanical Engineering Advisory Committee.

Seth Truby (Parent)-Fundraising Committee Chair
Seth Truby is a parent, volunteer, and founding board member of the Portland Village School. His professional experience includes years as a carpenter and social worker, and a decade as a violinmaker. He is a founder of N2e, a non-profit organization addressing the twin issues of climate change and energy independence by advocating for neighborhood-scale thermal energy systems. A singer, dancer, and instrumentalist, Seth is an active member of the local arts and culture community. With his wife Angela and daughters Willa Clare and Iona, Seth enjoys camping, swimming, cycling and general revelry.
Susan Harris (Parent)-Site Committee
