Rebeckah Castillo

"Miss Rebeckah", as she is fondly dubbed by the students and community, was born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. While growing up she spent most her free time alpine ski racing during the winter months and running during the other three seasons. As a young adult, after earning a Bachelors degree in Theatre Arts, Speech and Film, Miss Rebeckah moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she carved out a career in sales and management.  During that time Miss Rebeckah started a family, having two sons, Max and Miles,both of whom attend Portland Village School. Her oldest son Max initially began his education at a Waldorf charter school in Phoenix. While juggling work, family, running, and motherhood, Miss Rebeckah also served the Phoenix community as a La Leche League Leader for several years. Miss Rebeckah moved to Portland in the fall of 2007 and joined the staff at PVS in November of 2008.  She manages the office at PVS, as well as, serves as the Admissions Coordinator.
