Jessi Herbert

Jessi Herbert grew up in Olympia, Washington and received her B.A. from The Evergreen State College. She spent two years in Lesotho as a Peace Corps Volunteer, working at two rural primary schools. Upon her return she moved to New York City and received a Master's Degree in Art Education from The School of Visual Arts. She taught art and technical theater at a large arts focused high school in Brooklyn, NY for two years. Happily moving back to the west coast she taught at The International School before working at The Portland Village School. She is doing Waldorf training at the Micha-el Institute.
