Programs

Portland Village School provides a variety of special programs and clubs at the school.  As we begin the new school year we will provide information here about our programs. In the past school activities have included clubs for chess, crafts, dance, guitar, singing, and theater.

Lunch
A lunch program is available for families that would like to order lunches for their children. The lunch program is available for free or reduced cost to families that qualify. Please apply for free or reduced lunch, we encourage you to apply even if you aren’t sure you qualify. Contact Elizabeth O'Malley with any questions.

Extended Day Kindergarten
An extended day for kindergarten students is available for interested families for a fee. Please submit a Extended Kindergarten Agreement form and automatic debit authorization form if interested. Additionally, a before and aftercare program has been available for families that need assistance with care for their children of all school age. Contact Tracy Rimel with any questions.

Before and After School Care
Vermont Hills Family Life Center provides our before and after school programming in the upper grades building basement.  Register in advance at www.vhflc.org. The program is available from 3:00-6:00pm Mondays through Fridays except on Thursdays when the program begins at 2:00. The morning program is available 6:45am-8:15am Monday through Friday. Opportunities here will include art, literacy, drama, music, recreational games, homework help, science, math and more.
